A ministry concerned with the raising of South African abandoned babies

Those who become involved in the lives of these precious children are touched and changed. They come with a desire to give, and discover that in the process they receive far more than they could ever give.

The distinguishing characteristic of Sinakekele is:

WE ARE NOT
a home for abandoned babies
a children’s home
an orphanage or an institution

WE ARE A FAMILY

We have our ups and our downs, our good days and our bad days; just like any family.

We laugh, we cry, we have fun and we fight. But most importantly we love. Unconditionally.

Many people are involved in the day to day running of our family.

There is endless cleaning and laundry. Caring for the physical needs of the children, transportation to and from hospitals and clinics. Education and entertainment, and so the list goes on.

Local Volunteer

Involved in all these activities are the immediate family, the extended family, our domestic employees, many volunteers (both local and international), our donors / funders, our church family and our community.

As the saying goes:

"It takes a village to raise a child."

Those who become involved in the lives of these precious children are touched and changed. They come with a desire to give, and discover that in the process they receive more than they give.
