PlayGroup:
We run a play group on a Monday and Thursday morning for 5 orphaned toddlers that we identified in the community. These toddlers live with grannies / extended families. We plan on extending this to more children and increasing to Monday – Friday; as soon as we can resource and fund this. We also need to put up a gemini hut in the short term for use as a classroom.
Church Services:
Sunday morning services run for the community
Tuesday morning Bible study run for the community.
Evangelical Outreach:
We do an evangelical outreach every second Saturday where we provide a meal to all who attend.
Community outreach:
Food is distributed to the people at our various gatherings (dependant on what donations we have received).
Lunch is provided daily for 1 orphan from the community. We have spent time encouraging him to go to school and giving him incentives to do so.
We arranged placement for 1 orphan into an I-Care facility for streetchilden
In partnership with another organisation and a corporate company – we are working on having a house built for a widow who takes care of her own 2 children and her deceased sisters 3 children.
We do home visits and hospital visits when necessary.
